| On 15 January 2008 Commander Gary 'Buzz' Cox, along with Service Officer Owen Johnston, and Post Chaplain Frank Messer, went house to house to deliver some of the 50 and 60 year certificates to the loyal members of The American Legion that were left over from the past Commander, along with a several new ones from National Headquarters so that couple of other trips on other days were necessary to deliver all of them |

| Our Adjutant and Finance Officer, Bill Germelman, as well as Whitey also pitched in and helped out making sure that the certificates were delivered to the right members that had earned them. |
